The Project-26 (P-26) was a secret cadre organization established by the swiss military to maintain resistance morale in the event of occupation. It was deployed in 1979/1981 as the successor to the Special Service within the subgroup Intelligence Service and Defense (UNA) and was still being developed in 1990 when it was dissolved by the Federal Council after being disclosed by a Parliamentary Investigation Commission (PUK).

In 2006, two young adults went missing near Blumenstein. Their bodies were never found. The only evidence discovered was a series of logbook entries from one of the missing individuals. This log contains multiple text files, audio recordings, and a series of pictures taken with a Motorola device. All of this information was made public due to a data leak on December 21, 2022.

Between 1942 and 1982 Blumenstein (BST) were used as a military base point for numerous tactical use. Firstly, for the coal mine near the entrance of the village. Secondly, for its geological and geomorphic structure that disturbs radio signals. And lastly for scientific studies in relation to metaphysic reports from the local population. They gave up the base in the Winter of 1982 for unknown reasons. The last bridge between the mainland and the village of Blumenstein collapsed soon afterwards.

Three different frequencies were recorded in Blumenstein by the military. These frequencies were never decoded and the exact location of their transmission was never found. The local population named these frequencies “WOID”, “FEE” and “SCHREI”.

“SCHREI” contains electromagnetic waves that could have been sent from one of the missing persons. Some reports claim to recognize voices, respectively a scream. “FEE” appears to be an old recording of a violin, retuning every few seconds in sub-zero temperatures — played by someone extremely skilled. “WOID” is the most common and the most difficult to decipher: unidentified sounds reminiscent of short-lived faults in the system, glitches.
